Stranger Things feels like that one show you don’t expect to get attached to, and then suddenly you’re emotionally invested like they’re real people.
For me, it’s less about the monsters and more about the overall vibe you get from watching the show. From the late night bike rides to the friendships that will last a lifetime every single part showed me what true friendship is really about. I love how the kids always stick together no matter what and will do anything for each other which to me reflected me and Gabi’s friendship. It also reminds me that growing up is weird and scary, but having friends you trust by your side makes it so much easier. Not only that but I really connect with the characters because none of them are perfect. They mess up and argue but at the end they all come to the conclusion that they would be nowhere without each other which is truly amazing to see.

When I watch Stranger Things, I mostly think about how intense everything is. One minute the kids are joking around and the next they’re literally fighting monsters from another dimension. That’s what makes the show so exciting for me, you never really know what’s coming next. I like how every season feels bigger and more dangerous filled with even more mystery than the previous. Each episode sucks you in more and at one point, it’s almost impossible to stop watching. I’m really drawn to the horror and mystery side of the show as well because I love horror movies and it keeps me hooked all show long. What makes this even better is the character’s reaction to all of this, they’re just normal kids dealing with all of this stuff which is way bigger than them, and somehow they still manage to be brave and fight through it. Stranger things feels like a mix of fear, action, and loyalty and that’s why I enjoy it so much. It’s not just scary, it’s exciting.

Overall, Stranger Things shows how one story can be experienced in completely different ways. For Letizia, it’s emotional and centered on friendship. For Gabi, the show is instance and full of mystery which keeps her on her feet. Even with these completely different perspectives, both show why Stranger Things is such a staple show which everyone should watch.
